I created this using coloured pencils on heavy black paper. I love using texture in my work and the pencils for the cat's fur was perfect for this.  I created a soft sheen of the blue gate, to make it look like metal.  The black paper adds drama and allows the work to pop. I love bringing the eyes to life. I worked on capturing his character, he's cute, cheeky and a little cross.
